Whether it’s your drive to work, commuting to a meeting, while you’re exercising at the gym, or in the kitchen cooking dinner — we can confirm that podcasts offer easy to consume content that can help you learn new things and offer a source of inspiration for life, business, and all things personal.

We are avid listeners of podcasts and we wanted to share our favourites right now — both business and personal — that we love and think you might appreciate too!

The Roject:

Roj Torabi has quickly made her mark in the skinfluencer industry, hosting a weekly conversational podcast that aims to uncover the mysteries and effectiveness of various high to low-end face masks and body butters. The Roject is unique as it offers a platform to discuss body, beauty and lifestyle in a raw but empowering manner. You can expect informative, insightful and honest reviews covering a range of beauty products — matched with tons of humour, that we guarantee will have you tuning in for more. If you are a beauty addict (like us) — this podcast should definitely be on your subscription list!

Beauty IQ Uncensored:

Humorous, witty and highly relatable. Adore Beauty’s podcast Beauty IQ Uncensored normalises talking about things body-related for women that people generally turn a deaf ear to (you know, the topics we all think about but no one mentions)? Hosted by beauty editor Joanna and beauty newbie Hanna, their knowledge and banter will have you asking for more episodes that will make you binge listeners like us. This podcast covers all things beauty products, beauty myths and explores the importance of the ingredients in your skincare. If you’re craving some girl talk, something to break up your day, insightful skincare tips or just an all-around enjoyable podcast — Beauty IQ Uncensored will be right up your alley.

Vogue Stories:

Vogue stories is basically Vogue magazine in audio version (and we’re loving it through this medium at the moment). From our understanding, the episodes are categorised into series that include: ‘Growing Up In Style’ — a series of stories that explore the connection between fashion and local life in America. ‘Good Morning Vogue’ — a series of news and interviews in the world of fashion, covering designers, models, celebrities and creative inspiration. Other episodes range between the arts, culture and Vogue’s favourite stories. This podcast is unique as it is prominently centred on narrating stories instead of the typical podcast conversation. This podcast is perfect if you are a Vogue fan and want to stay up to date with moments that turn into ‘Vogue stories’ via audio as opposed to reading.

Life With Marianna:

Marianna has ventured into the realm of podcasts, and we dance with excitement every Tuesday. The podcast has a diverse guest selection that includes influencers, wellness professionals, creative masterminds, business experts, CEO’s and content creators. With the diverse range of guest speakers, you can expect topics that explore how to tap into your true and full potential to live your purpose — taking breaks to tap into things that make you happy and clear with yourself — following your curiosity — inspirational stories to success — redirecting your mind and energy on things that serve you — entrepreneurial advice, how to diversify your income AND an abundance of insightful and valuable content that will inspire you to live your best life. P.s if you are ever feeling like you need a moment to regather yourself, feeling overwhelmed or a tad anxious, we recommend the episode “Meditation and Sound Bath for Anxiety and Stress”. We guarantee the Tibetan and Marianna’s soothing voice will allow you to feel present and relaxed (we’re listening as we write this and trying very hard not to fall asleep).

Super Soul Conversations:

Have you ever questioned your existence, purpose on earth, your thoughts, how mindful you are, and, most importantly, if you are living your truth? This is what is referred to as a spiritual awakening. A spiritual awakening is a calling to your higher self through self-awareness. It is a journey towards finding fulfilment in your life from things that stem within you, opposed to worldly materials. If you are thirsting for some kind of direction in life or keen to understand more about returning back to your roots – this podcast is for you! Oprah and her guests discuss conscious growth, evolution and moments that lead to finding life’s calling. So, suppose you appreciate deep conversations, vulnerability, courage and want to claim your birthright to spiritual awakening. In that case, we suggest you plug in those headphones and listen with intention to live more consciously.

The Garyvee Audio Experience:

Gary needs no introduction and in our opinion he is a marketing and entrepreneurial guru. His podcast is a mix of keynote speeches, interviews, his own recorded thoughts and segments from his WEEKLYVEE video series that explore business and practical advice for life in general. If you need a mindset shift, business advice, authentic content and want to apply a compass for gratitude — this podcast is for you! What you get from this podcast is inspirational content and value to apply to in all areas of your life. Whether you are a fan of his candour or not, Gary reminds us that business is built on passion, authenticity and being true to your values in the process.

For us, podcasts represent more than just conversations. They symbolise learning experiences that can really add value to your life. There is a range of topics, themes and subjects that you can choose from and whether you want to learn a new skill, understand something with a little more depth, immerse yourself in a new idea, or just consume more of what you connect to personally — there is a podcast out there to offer exactly that. So, the next time you scroll through your music playlist, we highly recommend making the shift to podcasts!
